School Education – Representations / appeals of certain Teachers for promotion addressing to the Head of Department – Instructions
It has been noticed that certain teachers working in Schools in the Districts are directly addressing representations / appeals for promotions to their next post directly to the Head of the Department without approaching their immediate higher authorities, which comes under insubordination.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are hereby instructed to issue necessary instructions to all their Headmasters / teachers in all Government,ZillaParishad and municipal Management Schools not to deviate the prescribed proper channel that any requests pertaining to promotions need to be made to the appointing authority i.e. concerned District Educational Officer or the appeal can be submitted to the competent authority i.e. concerned Regional Joint Director of School Education, instead of directly submitting representation / grievances directly to the Commissioner of School Education, which causes delay in getting the grievances redressed
