Supply of TABs to Class VIII Students in Government Schools - Preparedness for Delivery and installation
Digital Infrastructure to Classrooms –Supply of TABs to Class VIII Students in Government Schools for the year 2023-24 –Preparedness for Delivery and installation
ORDER:
In continuation to Government orders vide reference read above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and APCs(SS) in the state are informed that Government of Andhra Pradesh has also extended the TABS Program for the year 2023-24 and desired to provide tabs to Class 8 Students of all Government Schools preloaded with BYJU'S Premium content free of cost and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will launch the said event on 21-12-2023.
In the context the following instructions are issued for smooth conduct of the program.
a. The tabs will be supplied to the all the 4 Zones headquarters initially ( 4 delivery points ). The respective RJDSEs shall receive the same and safeguard them in secured location/premises. The MEOs shall receive and take them to their Mandals as per their requirement.
b. District Level teams shall be constituted with
senior level officer for smooth dispatch of tabs to the mandal / school points
c. Mandal
level teams shall
be constituted with a
team of MIS Coordinator, CRP
and active teachers for inserting
the SD cards activating the SD cards
with the supplied QR codes and mapping with students in the APP. Similar to the
practice adopted last year. After this process Tabs shall be sent to
schools d. The respective phone numbers
of Vendors / OEM Representatives
District Nodal Officers / Command center
Team Members / will be shared through
live Spread Sheet
for close coordination
and necessary action.
e. Time to Time progress shall be updated in
the same Google Spread Sheet. The entire
review will be taken up basing on
the information provided in the sheet.
f. Team
from State Headquarters will be
available 24 x 7 for close coordination
Therefore, all the
Regional Joint Directors of
School Education and District Educational Officers and APC( SS) in the state are here by directed to disseminate the above
instructions to all the Headmasters
in their jurisdiction to ensure the
seamless Delivery and Installation of
TABS in all schools (enclosed ).
These instructions should be followed scrupulously. Any deviation of these instructions will be viewed seriously, and suitable disciplinary action will be initiated against such defaulters as per rules in force
