Recruitment of 411 posts of Sub Inspectors and 6100 posts of Police Constables
Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms. No. 153 of Home (Services.IV) Department dated: 20.10.2022, sanctioned recruitment of 411 posts of Sub Inspectors and 6100 posts of Police Constables.The details are as follows
SUB
INSPECTORS
WOMEN RESERVATION:33⅓ % in all categories.
EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C,
BC-D, BC-E,
SC, ST and
Ex.
Servicemen as per rule of reservation.
SPECIAL REPRESENTATION FORSPECIAL CATEGORIES:2% for Meritorious Sports Persons
(MSP);
3%
for
NCC; 5%
for
Police Executive
(PE);
1%
for
Police Ministerial (PM); 2% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:Degree or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July,2022, he/she must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination and should have studied degree.
Two papers (each of three
hours duration). The candidate needs to qualify in each of the two papers.
2. PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT TEST & PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST Candidates
who qualify Preliminary Written Test will
appear
for the Physical Measurement Test and
Physical Efficiency Test.
Events for Physical Efficiency Test: CIVIL Sub
Inspectors:
1.
1600 Meters
run
(1 Mile Run) and
2. One out of the two events of 100 meters run or long jump.
These will be qualifying in nature.
Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency
Test:
1. 1600 Meters
run
(1 Mile Run)
2. 100 meters run
3. long jump.
Marks will be given. Details available in notification.
Four papers (each of three hours duration)
FINAL SELECTION:
Paper I and
II are qualifying in nature.Paper III consisting of
200 marks and paper IV
consisting of 200 marks,
Total 400 marks, will be taken into account for final selection.
