Identification of Teachers for development of content, training material instructions

-      Education Policy-2020 - Teacher Trainings on New Text Books for smooth class room instruction by Primary Teachers in the State under Learning Enhancement Programme   (LEP)   via   ONLINE   MODE      Identification   of Teachers   for development of content, training material. etc., Certain instructions - Issued Reg.


All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are hereby informed that in the academic year-2020-21, the School Education Department has revised the syllabus and developed New text books for Classes I to VI. These text books reflect the insights of New Education Policy.


The new syllabus is focusing on promoting foundational literacy and numeracy skills among Students. For effective class room instruction of this syllabus, teachers has to know the philosophy of textbooks, understanding its Learning Outcomes, Strategies for achievement of Learning Outcomes, Student Assessment Process etc.


Hence, it is proposed to organize an Online based Training program to train the teachers in DIKSHA Platform so as to enable them to explore different innovative methods for class room instruction of new text books and also to provide live examples for different transactional process of subjects through videos, language games etc.,


In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby requested to furnish the list of 20 well experienced teachers subject wise as prescribed in the Table-A below who were involved in various Training programs for development of teacher training Modules, content development, Video preparation, assessment development etc., so as to develop hand-outs, training material, assessment schedules and videos for the Teachers Trainings on New Text Books for smooth class room Instruction by Primary Teachers Classes of I-VI in bilingual mode in the State under Learning Enhancement Programme (LEP) of PAB 2020-21.

  1. The text book should contain clear pictures and should be relevent to the content.To develop reading the text should be limited . Functional English should be developed introducing role play ,small skits relevent to the theme of the unit.

  2. Face sheet should show clear pictures of the words (verbal ornoun charecters) we introduce inthe unit . The face sheet , reading text, rhyme shuld be inter related

  3. Reading text should not exceed 10 lines for 1 and 2 classes .
