Deputation of Tribal Teachers for Tribal Teachers Training Programme

Dear Sir/Madam.

The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is one of the premier institutions in the country working in the field of Linking Education with Culture. Its main objective is to organize a variety of training programmes for in-service teachers from Primary to Senior Secondary level, teacher educators (including DIET Lecturers) and administrators in order to emphasize the need of linking Education with Culture.

The participating teachers/educators are made aware of incorporating a cultural component in pre-service and in-service training by using methodologies prepared by CCRT for cultural orientation and preparation of teaching-learning material under the Scheme ‘Propagation of Culture amongst the Students’. The Ministry of Culture, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of organizing training programmes for Teachers and Teacher Educators to the CCRT.

In order to achieve its objective, CCRT is organizing Tribal Teachers Training Programme on “Enhancing Understanding of Indigenous Traditions” for Tribal Teachers from February 04-11, 2016 at CCRT Regional Centre, 3-B, Ambavgarh, Swaroop Sagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The CCRT has already intimated to your concerned education authorities for deputation of 20 teachers in the training programme.

The objective of the above said training programmes are as follows: 

1.    To provide opportunities to develop a wide range of intellectual and other skills for devising methodologies to introduce cultural components in classroom teaching to make teaching – learning a total experience.
2    To explore the possibilities of incorporating local resources in curriculum teaching
3    To highlight the need for aesthetics, culture and value oriented education so that the future generations are aware of their cultural roots.
4    To strengthen an understanding of the diversity of rich cultural heritage to promote enduring inherent values of Indian Culture.

In this regard, you are requested to kindly get deputed 10 tribal teachers for the above said training programme, teaching class 1 to 10 from the Government, Government Aided Schools and Tribal schools. Your cooperation in getting the teachers deputed will be highly appreciated.  

While deputing the Tribal Teachers, the following guidelines may be followed mandatorily:

1.    Tribal Teachers up to the age of 52 years only are eligible to attend the Training Programme.
2.    Tribal Teachers teaching all the subjects except Physical Education/Yoga are eligible.
3.    The Headmaster/Headmistress and Principals of the schools should not be deputed for participation in the Training Programme.
4.    Teachers who have already attended the Tribal Teachers Training Programme on “Enhancing Understanding of Indigenous Traditions” organized by the CCRT as per your record should not be deputed again for the same training programme.
5.    No Contractual or Temporary teachers; like, Shiksha-Karmi, Shiksha-Bandhu, Shiksha-Mitr, Education Friend, Teacher Facilitator, Sanvidha Shikshak, etc. should be deputed.
6.    The deputed teachers may be informed not to bring any escort/family member with them under any circumstances.
7.    Your deputation order will be treated as a final order and the CCRT will not issue any selection letter to individuals. However, any relevant query by the deputed teachers will be answered by the CCRT.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
   
Participants are advised to bring alongwith them the following:

a)    Date of Birth Certificate
b)    Relieving Certificate from the School/Institution
c)    Basic Pay/Salary Certificate from the School/Institution
d)    Two Passport size photographs
e)    Tickets/Ticket Nos. (Original of the onward journey performed and photocopy of the return journey).
To-and-fro tickets of the entitled class and by shortest route should be purchased for the journey.
   
Participating teachers will be paid TA/DA as per Annex I.

Kindly ask the deputed teachers to report for registration for the programme at 10.A.M. on the date of commencement of the training programme in the respective venue as mentioned above. Teachers reporting after this date will not be allowed to attend the Programme and no TA/DA will be paid by the CCRT as per rules.

It will be highly appreciated if a list of deputed teachers for the above said programme is sent to CCRT by fax/e-mail latest by January 22, 2016.
