DDO Bank Accounts- Information requested by Government

The attention of all the Treasury officers in the state is invited to the subject and references cited. In addition to the above mentioned orders issued in the references cited, all the Government Departments were authorized to open bank accounts on different occasions and they are being operated for various purposes. Over a period of time there have been technological advances and ocean of changes in terms of banking procedures and the operations. In light of this the Government desires to review the need for the several bank accounts operated by the Departments. Thus all the Treasury Oficers in the State are requested to obtain the information relating to the Multiple bank accounts of the Drawing & Disbursing Oficers of all Government Departments in their jurisdiction in the below mentioned proforma

All the treasury officers are therefore informed that a software application will be made available by 22.11.2023 to capture the above data from the DDOs in the Nidhi Portal. In the mean time, the Treasury Oficers should alert all the DDOs to make this data readily available for entry into the portal as soon as it is deployed. This item shall be given top priority and complete the task by 25th November, 2023, as instructed by the Spl. C.S during the recent DT&AOs conference
