School Education - DSC-1998 - Appointment of 4,072 candidates as SGTs who were qualified in DSC-1998 on contract basis with Minimum Time Scale (MTS) with terms and conditions - Certain instructions
*The School Education Department has issued a memo stating that the following conditions will apply to 4072 candidates who have qualified by DSC 1998 after the Government gave permission to appoint them on contract and MTS basis treating them as SGTs.*

*Their appointment is entirely on contract basis and the same conditions apply to them as the existing contract employees.*
*B.Ed. qualified candidates are required to attend a six-month bridge course related to primary education*
*They will have to reap the same benefits as other contract employees. Regular teachers should not claim the benefits they get*
*It should be noted that in certain circumstances, their appointment is done only on humanitarian grounds*
