Jagananna Gorumudda - Implementation of Half Day Schools in all Managements-Change of timings of Providing of Chikki instead of Ragi Jawa to all the students under Jagananna Gorumudda scheme -Orders-Issued

In continuation to the orders issued references cited, all the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that vide references cited instructions were issued to serve Ragi Jawa on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday during a week in Foundational/ High Schools.

Discussions were held at higher level with the Hon'ble Minister for Education and the Principal Secretary to Govt., School Education Dept., GoAP, and considering the revision of School timings issued vide reference 4 cited i.e.,

08: 00 AM to 11: 00/11: 15 AM, it is decided to provide Mid day meal at the end of school and to provide Peanut jaggery Chikki at the time of MDM to all Students even on non-chikki days also instead of Ragi Java till closure of Schools/ till end of Academic year 2022-2023.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State are instructed to issued necessary instructions to all Deputy Educational Officers/ Mandal Educational Officers/ Head Masters to provide Mid day meal at the end of school and to provide Peanut jaggery Chikki at the time of MDM to all Students even on non-chikki days also instead of Ragi Java till closure of Schools/ till end of Academic year 2022-2023 only. The Ragi java will be resumed after the reopening of Schools in the next academic year.
