Samagra Shiksha – Launch of Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22 –Conduct of State Level Awards (SVP) on 05.09.2022-Instructions

It is informed that the Government of India has successfully launched the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22 on 12th January 2022 by Hon’ble Minister of State for Education, Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22, assumes additional importance due to the existing situation of the COVID-19 Pandemic. It will help assess the status of water, sanitation and hand washing facilities as well as hygienic be haviour to ensure prevention of COVID-19 transmission. Compliance of schools with COVID-19 appropriate be haviour will create confidence among parents to send their children to schools at the time of re-opening, once the situation of COIVD-19 pandemic is under control.

Further, it is informed that the District Level Committee has verified all such schools and selected the total 493 awards for District level, out of these 182 awards were nominated to State level Selection.

Further, the GoI has suggested the following criteria for selection of State Level Awards to National Level Awards under SVP 2021-22

The State Level Committee was nominated the 26 awards (20- Overall and 6- Sub Category) as per the above criteria for National Level Awards under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22. The details are as follows :

Hence it is decided to conduct the State Level Award function under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22 on 05.09.2022 at 10.00 A.M.at Tummalapalli Kalaa Kshetram, Vijayawada, NTR District.

All the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Co-coordinators, Samagra Shiksha (Erstwhile Districts as mentioned above) in the state are requested to relieve concerned Headmasters/ Principals of above 26 Schools and issue instructions to the above Headmasters/Principals to report before reporting officer at the venue on 04.09.2022 at 11.00 A.M well in advance (Contact Number at Venue:9493454549- Supdt) at Tummalapalli Kalaa Kshetram, Vijayawada, NTR District without fail to attend the State Level Award function under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22.

This has got approval of the State Project Director, AP, Samagra Shiksha, Amatavati.
