NMMS - DUE DATES- ELIGIBILITY

It is hereby notified that the State Level National Means-cum• Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII will be announced later. The Examination conducted in Telugu, Urdu and English medium at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of 13 Districts in the State.

The due dates may be downloaded from the web site "www.bse.ap.gov.in. The applications will be received through online procedure only.

I) ELIGIBILITY: A candidate who has/is

(i) Due to coivd-19 pandemic and lockdown all students of Class VIII in academic year 2021-22 who have been promoted from Class VII will be allowed to appear in the NMMSS Exam of 2021, as a special case, irrespective of minimum marks.

(ii) Studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8t class) schools only.

(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.1,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.

(iv) Candidate has to submit the original caste certificate and also Income certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.

II) Examination fee is Rs.100/- for OC and BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC and ST students. The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www .bse.ap.gov.in).
