School Education – CSIR Innovation Award for School children – Competition to inculcate scientifc temperament and innovation spirit among school children – Participation of Students – Requested - Reg.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Ofcers and District Science Ofcers in the state are informed that Innovation Protection Unit, Council of Scientifc & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, has instituted a competition “CSIR Innovation Award for School Children” to inculcate science temperament and innovation spirit among school children. CSIR also provides training in IPR to selected meritorious students along with their science teachers.

2. Further it is informed that the afore said competition is organised every year and awards will be conferred on CSIR Foundation day 26th September. For this year CSIR has announced the competition for the year

2021 (Brochure enclosed) and an advertisement has been published in

National and Regional Newspapers.

4. Therefore, all the RJDSEs, DEOs and District Science Ofcers in the state are requested to advise the schools to encourage students to participate in the aforesaid competition. The last date of submission of entries is 31st May, 2021.
