In this module teachers will able to understand about the Child, Rights of Child, Child Abuse, Child Sexual Abuse and it’s indicators and the legal framework available to address these in India. They will learn about the law, Protection of Children from sexual offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) and on the role that teachers and school can play in keeping a child safe.
