Identify some of the schools in the coastal areas to use them as cyclone shelters
1.In continuation to reference 2nd read above, the District Educational Officers/ Additional project coordinators/ Executive Engineers in the state are hereby instructed to submit a copy directly to the Special Commissioner of Disaster Management Revenue (DM) Dept., and Managing Director, APSDMA, Tadepalli Mandal, Guntur District duly submitting action taken report to this office.
2. Further, it is informed that vide reference 3rd read above, wherein the Special commissioner for Disaster Management, Revenue (DM) Dept., and MD, APSDMA, Tadepalli, Guntur District has requested to direct the district authorities concerned to identify some of the schools in the coastal areas for strengthening of infrastructure so to use them as cyclone shelters during disasters and to send necessary proposals /DPRs at the earliest for taking further necessary action.
3. In view of the above circumstances, the District Educational Officers/ Additional project co-ordinators/ Executive Engineers in the state are hereby requested to identify some of the schools in the coastal areas for strengthening of infrastructure so to use them as cyclone shelters during disasters and to send necessary proposals /DPRs at the earliest.
4. Therefore, the District Educational Officers/ Additional project coordinators/ Executive Engineers in the state are hereby instructed to submit a copy directly to the Special Commissioner of Disaster Management Revenue (DM) Dept., and Managing Director, APSDMA, Tadepalli Mandal, Guntur District duly submitting action taken report to this office.
