This is to inform you that the as per the GO
MS. No. s read
above, Government of Andhra
Pradesh has established
Model
Primary
Schools (MPS)
during the academic year 2015-16
in all districts with the aim
of
making
them
as centers of academic
excellence
and to be model to the
surrounding Primary schools.
Government views these schools
as knowledge centers and aspires
to strengthen primary education with
the same
spirit.
As per the
discussions with SCERT, AP, Hyderabad, a concept note on ''Road map for the achievement of
academic excellence'' in
the above said schools is here
with mailed to all the DEOs in the state.
You are therefore
requested to read
the
document carefully and come up with your specific reflections on the areas touched in
the road
map. You are flexible
to suggest your view points to the document.
As you are aware that the Govt. is planning to start Pre
Primary Education in the state by strengthening the Anganwadi centres, you are requested to communicate the
list of MPS
schools in your district where there
is feasibility of attaching Pre
Primary Education center to it. It is
further informed to communicate the
physical
facilities such
as availability of classrooms within the MPS
premises I nearer
to
MPS for the
attachment of pre-primary education centres.
You are als informed to reflect on the non-negotiable issued in the above
explained matters.
