The attention of the Project
Officers and District Educational Officers in the CRDA districts are invited to
the reference cited, the Constitution of India has assured that Elementary
Education is a fundamental right of the child as per the 86th Constitutional
amendment the Children who are in the age group of 6 - 14 years should have
Eight years of free and compulsory Education in the Country.
Accordingly the Government of
India and the Government of Andhra Pradesh have taken many steps to strengthen
the Elementary Education by providing access, appointment of teachers, Quality
Education, infrastructure facilities.
