Revision of Material (Cooking) costs
PM POSHAN - Jagananna Gorumudda(JGM) (Mid - Day Meal(MDM)) – Revision of Material (Cooking) costs provided to the Cooks of all Schools in the State under Jagananna Gorumudda (PM POSHAN) w.e.f., 01.10.2022
The attention of the Regional Joint Directors of School Education(RJDSEs) and the District Educational Ofcers (DEOs) is invited to the subject cited and informed that the Govt of India, Ministry of Education, New Delhi has decided to increase the Material Cost (earlier known as cooking cost) @9.f.6% over and above the existing cooking cost under PM POSHAN Scheme w.e.f., 1st October, 2022 for the year 2022-23. The revised rates of Material Cost admissible w.e.f., 01.10.2022 during 2022-23 for Primary and Upper Primary classes would be as under
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education(RJDSEs) and the District Educational Ofcers (DEOs) in the State are hereby informed that the revised material cost provided to the Cooks of all Schools in the State w.e.f., 01.10.2022 as follows:-
i. @Rs.5.45per Student instead of the present cost of @Rs.4.9.f7 per student for Primary school students and;
ii. @Rs.8.17 per
student instead of
the present cooking
cost of
@Rs.7.45 per student to Upper Primary/ High School
students.
Further informed that additional menu cooking cost of @Rs.0.43 paise per student for Primary classes Students and @Rs.0.40 paise per student for Upper Primary/High schools Students shall be utilized from the HoA of Addl. Menu charges remains same w.e.f., 01.10.2022.
In view of the above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education(RJDSEs) and the District Educational Ofcers (DEOs) in the State are requested to utilize and process bills under Jagannana Gorumudda - MDM for Primary/ Upper Primary/ High school Students w.e.f.,
01.10.2022 as follows. Care is to be taken while
generating bills from the month of October, 2022 under Jagannana Gorumudda(MDM)
scheme.
1. Material cost @Rs.5.45 per Student for Primary
school students and meet the expenditure
from PFMS - SNA Account;
2. Material
cost @Rs.8.17 per
Student for Upper
Primary school students and meet
the expenditure from PFMS - SNA Account;
3. Additional menu cooking costs of @Rs.0.43
paise per Student for Primary school students and Rs.0.40 paise
per Student for Upper Primary School Students and meet the expenditure under additional menu component
of State Budget(CFMS);
4. Material cost @Rs.8.17 per Student for High
school (IX & X) students and meet the
expenditure from State Budget(CFMS);
