II: GENERAL INFORMATION
|
- National Talent Search Examination (First Level) is conducted by Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., Vijayawada as per directions of NCERT, New Delhi every year in the month of November along with NMMS Examination.Due to Covid -19 this year the Examination is scheduled to be Conducted in the month of January.
- All students in the state who are studying X Standard in any of the recognized schools can write the examination.
- Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the students is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in Class X examination for the first time.
- The number of scholarships will be allocated by NCERT every year. The candidates will be selected to the Second Level basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms given by NCERT.
- 2000 candidates every year are being selected in Second Level Examination all over the country.
III.SCHOLARSHIP PER ANNUM:
- Scholarship will be paid by the NCERT,New Delhi
- Scholarships
(a) For Intermediate (1st and 2nd years) : Rs. 1250/- per month
(b) For Graduation and Post Graduation : Rs. 2000/- per month
(c) For Ph.D, Scholarship will be paid as per UGC norms
