Government have issued orders vide reference 2nd read above in No.6 For the service rendered :0.5 points for every year of completed service in the total service in all categories as on 01st October of the year in which transfers are to be taken up
Accordingly total service rendered by the teachers shall be taken into consideration for awarding service points. Morever the SGTs who are qualified may be considered for promotion basing on their serniority only. They may get promotion after competition of several years in the cadre of SGT. Therefore considering the completed service in the present cadre only instead of total service i.e. in all categories is not feasible
